1. Check Dryer Balance

Ensure the LG dryer is well balanced using a spirit level. Adjust the feet of the dryer until it is balanced. If the machine rocks when pushing diagonally on the top plate, adjust the feet again.

2. Inspect Components

Verify that the water container, filter, control panel, and drum are all in place.

3. Warm Up the Drum

Set the dryer to run for 5 minutes to warm up the drum.

4. Ventilate Interior

Open the door between loads during the first few uses to allow any odors from the interior of the dryer to disperse.

5. Select Drying Cycle

Choose the drying cycle you want by turning the cycle selector knob until the desired cycle is indicated. If no cycle is selected, the dryer will default to the Cupboard cycle.
